Dr. Suzanne Boys [email protected] Suzanne received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She went on to earn a PhD. in communication from Texas A&M University. Her dissertation on the Roman Catholic clergy sex abuse crisis developed a dialogical model for understanding crisis communication. Since 2010, Suzanne has been the public relations program director at the University of Cincinnati. She has taught numerous PR courses, including Introduction to Public Relations, PR Cases, and PR capstone. She currently teaches Organizational Diversity; Organizational Image, Identity, & Issues; and Public Relations Campaigns. She serves as faculty advisor for UC PRSSA and UC Influence, and as the Diversity Director for Cincinnati PRSA. She is excited to welcome students into the university’s new public relations major. PRSA Professional Adviser
Lauren Vogel Lauren currently serves as an account supervisor at Scooter Media, a boutique public relations agency in Covington. She started her career on the consumer side of agency life at Wordsworth Communications and then served as a senior PR and social media strategist at gyro, a global B-to-B agency, where she helped Fortune 500 clients in tech, healthcare, food and beverage, and professional services strategically reach other businesses within their target audience. In 2019, she received her APR through the Public Relations Society of America. In addition to serving as the professional advisor to the University of Cincinnati's PRSSA chapter, she also serves on the board of Welcome House, an organization that strives to end homelessness. Lauren graduated cum laude with a degree in public relations from Kent State University in 2011, where she served as an on-air DJ for Black Squirrel Radio and a reporter for the Daily Kent Stater. She currently resides in Covington with her sweet chihuahua pomeranian mutt, Zoey. |
